The story behind Dad

Today’s post is about “Dad”… for purposes of this opening book in the series, Dad is in his late 20s.

He is a Very hard working man, who provides well for his young family. He is physically and mentally strong… and built a framework of rules and expectations that provide a clear path for his kids future. Discipline was Always surrounded by Love. He is, and has always been the strongest man I know.

The story behind Mom

For purposes of this series of books, Mom is in her early 20s. I am trying to portray her as very loving and caring… But at the same time incredibly strong. Being a young mother of a son with Cerebral Palsy is Not an easy thing to do. But she handled it with unimaginable determination. I wish she could’ve see this book. I Love You Mom.

Today’s post is about my little sister Melissa

possibly referred to as Missy in future stories.
She is two years younger than I am… so in this 1st book, she is about 4.
You’ll see throughout this series of books that she is a typical little sister in most ways. Pretty clothes, pretty hair, and lots of dolls and stuffed animals. If you look closely in this first book… you’ll see she has a similar golden dog. One of her favorite dolls was the “Strawberry Shortcake” series. I have to be honest… that was about the coolest set on dolls on the planet when we were kids.
We have the normal brother/sister dynamics… a conflict here and there, but a lot of fun along the way. Even being my little sister… she was always fiercely protective of me… and you’ll see that too. Love ya Sis !!!
